Following the town’s Festival of Lights parade, we stopped in at Fat Tomato per request of my kids (3-5yo). It’s their favorite place in town and they love the hot dogs. Even though they were closing in 20 minutes the staff was excited we came in and gave the kids stickers and arranged some seating for us after we ordered. They had been offering a “build your own” caramel covered apple bar with lots of toppings for the parade, very cool. While we waited for our food, the owners offered for both of my girls to build their own apples and gave them to us free of charge. T.F.T. Continues to hold the crown for their favorite restaurant in town.

Wonderful staff and delicious food! The chicken tenders were practically falling apart, they were so moist, and the sauce options are unbelievable. I also highly recommend the sweet potato tots, which were perfectly cooked and came with a maple aioli. If you get the grilled cheese, which is decadent on perfectly-grilled sourdough, I suggest you get the tomato soup - excellent dipping sandwich!

Stopped off 95 to grab sandwiches on New Years Eve. Everything was delicious and the owner was super friendly! He was very kind to give us some mini whoopie pies on the way out. Will definitely come back the next time we’re passing through.

Amazing place to eat! Had the tomato soup and it was fantastic, perfect for a rainy day! Also had the seasonal harvest burger and that too was also delish. Crispy sweet potato burger with a great cilantro sauce!! Owner was so nice and friendly!! Must go again!!

Wow, just wow! Best tenders I’ve ever had! Tried all the sauces which were fantastic. Loved the maple cream dipping sauce in particular. Creative and tasty! We also order a special, “Fries Chicken Poutine” - poutine fries with hand battered tenders. Wonderful! Ate half the plate before realizing I should grab a phone (pictured with review). Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. 5 stars - highly recommend

Excellent find by our friend. We all met for lunch and really enjoyed our food. I had the special - chicken tenders on poutine - and it was really, really good. The tenders are not the typical over-breaded and fried to death tenders you find at so many places. These tenders have a delicate crispy coating and are warm and juicy on the inside. The poutine gravy was very good and the portion size was large. We'll be going back for more!
